Ho Chi Minh City known as Saigon. It is the capital city of Vietnam. This astonishing city, full of vitality, was the original "Pearl of the Orient". Saigon is the largest city in Vietnam and the former capital of the Republic of Vietnam. It is also a top tourist centre of Vietnam. The city is so vibrant by people and unique Vietnamese live life style. The city is so glorious with the historical sight seeing. I could feel the vibe of its histories all around the corner with its Vietnamese life culture. People here are nice and they seems to look like life as it simple and easy living life style. I was pretty impressived how people here this city still lives in between the new century and still continue on with its own traditional and old culture. It was so fascinating for me and I even felt like I was traveling back in times in someway.

Ben Thanh Market – a symbol of the city, Notre Dame Cathedral – an unique religious building with two 60m high bell towers, one of the tourist attractions in the city. Besides, there are historical sites such as Nha Rong Wharf – where President Ho Chi Minh left the country to seek ways for national salvation; Cu Chi tunnels –iron land  in the resistance war against the US; Sat Forest base and War Remnants Museum. In addition, the city also boasts entertainment places such as the Suoi Tien Tourist and Culture Site which is well-known for its trademark festive activities and special games, along with Dam Sen and Van Thanh tourist sites. Ho Chi Minh Night. The combination of East – West cultures and the presence of the Kinh and Hoa ethnic groups make Saigon’s gastronomic art unique, with many ways of cooking and many common and fussy dishes which will surely please the most fastidious guests.

Ho Chi Minh City is a fascinating city. I love the vibrant but at the same time it was also charming because of the people here. I was surpirsed about the kindness of the people here and to be honest with you I think Vietnamese people is one of the kindness people in the world I have ever met, even though I could see thoudsand of bikes all around the city and it seem like undisipline but behind that this is one a wonderful destination I have visit. Even Ho Chi Minh city is the capital city of Vietnam but people seem still to represent slow life compare to other capital cities in the world. What I love about Ho Chi Minh city the most is the twist of European culture that left behind and their root heritage Vietamese culture.

I really enjoyed my time walking around food market. The street food here was so amazing, fresh and adventurous for me. It is definitely one of the best destination for foodie. I wanted to try everything I saw here but what made it the best of this trip was that all the Vietnamese food I have tired here was notthing like any Vietnamese food I had before. It was simply, clean and delicious. It was even more fun when I had to sit on the little stool by the side walk and enjoy that authentic homecook Vietnamese food. One of my great memory was a night in Ho Chi Minh and I decided to walk around the hotel so I found this little street food vendor by the side walk. They sell snails so I wanted to give it a try. Those snails were so little but It was so delicious. It was such a fun thing to do at night like eating snails by the said walk and it was super delicious.

Other than food I also like to go around the city by traditional cyclo service. This way I could sit back and enjoyed people life around the city but the only horrible thing was that I smelt like a gasoline after all. It was not because of the Vietnamese Cyclo but Ho Chi Minh city had thoudsand of bikes all around the city so for that reason this is why you may need a face mask. I felt a bit sick after being on the street after 10 minutes. It was just because I did not get used with the polution here. Also the scariest thing for me was about crossing the road here. My tour guid tole me to just keep walking and the bike will not crush on you but if you stop you may get hit by the bike. I think it was the most dangerous moment to risk my life crossing the road in Ho Chi Minh City.

However Ho Chi Minh City is rich with the history. It was very interesting to see the architecture and history behind it. Vietnam had been through so much tragic from the war and colonized by western so It was quite intriguing to visit the museum and learn what they had been through. Even though I was very impressed with people here, no matter what the history had done to people here but they are one of the kindness people I have ever met in my life. People here seem happy and positive. It always important for me to meet great people and feel safe in the country I visit more than just a beautiful city but creepy people. I really love Vietname and definitely a sweet destination!

Best Season:

The best times for traveling to Ho Chi Minh City are late November through January. Consider that "dry season" is a relative term in Indochina. Temperatures range from hot in the winter to hotter in the summer, and the humidity nears 100 about every day. Expect tropical storms often in the summer and try to avoid the wet season which is usually last from May to October.

Ho Chi Minh City is such a charming city with a vibrancy that is unique and has it own specific character. I love the richness of the city's history, culture and people all of which make Ho Chi Minh City a truly remarkable destination to visit in South East Asia.
