Here I am in Sydeny. The city of ocean and sunshine. I had been to Sydney about three times, my first time was my English summer camp for a month here. I was fifteen years old, second trip was eighteen years old and my third trip was around twenty three years old. I love visiting Sydney since the flight is only about 6 hours from Bangkok. It is also a sunshine and lovely city here. I found it pretty relaxing when I visited Sydney. It is clean, lovely and ocean is all around. It is so vibrant and lively here, people are friendly and layback as well, so let me start with my first trip story to Sydney. I was fifteen years old. I came here for an English summer and culture exhanged. I spent one month time here with an Aussie family. They are so lovely and friendly. I got to learn about how they live and culture. I love my home stay. It was a lovely house right on top of the hill with an access stair way to the beach. It was so beautiful. I remembered when I was walking on the beach where people were chilling, fishing and playing some sport. It was a very nice neigoorhood area and people seem so layback here. This probably was the big impression for my first time about Australian attitude and livling life style. It was so much fun for my first day walking on the beach with the daugther of my host family. She was very friendly and sweet. We shared and talk a lot about our culture even though I used a lot of body langugage since then I was just a girl who was trying to learn English but from heart to heart and smile on our face we definietly comunicated each other. I also enjoyed my breakfast time every morning in the living room with the open view of the open ocean. The weather was very nice and the sun was sligtly warm. The breeze air from the ocean was very refreshing. It is just a lovely and sunshine city for me.

There are also a big population of Asian people here and a lot of international students so it is quite a mixed culture here. There are plenty of Asian restaurants as well so there are many choices to chose to eat around the city. It was quite funny at the time when I stayed with my Aussie host family. They seem to laugh a lot and tried to cooked me rice or even took me to Thai restaurant so I was not sure at that time about Australian food culture. They were very sweet to put the though of my food culture and tried to cook me some chickend with curry spices on it. It was a blast for a month period of time that I got to stay and learn their culture until the last day before I had to fly back home. They decied to drive me to the Kangaroo zoo somewhere which was not so far away from home. I had a wonderful time feeding food to the Kangaroo right from my hand and the kangaroo was grabing food from my hand like a human! That was the closest experienced with this exotic animal I had ever had so It was a blast for my last day but there was a crazy thing happend on the way my host family drove back to the school to drop me. The tire was flat and we had to stop on the side of the road, my host family and her daugther who was my age back then help each other to change the tire. They were not stress about it and even lauge about the situation until her hansband arrived to help us to make sure if they could get me back to the school to get on the bus and then to the airport, but everything was fine and I got on the bus on time. We share a little bit of tear and joy and say good bye.

I had a great memory for my first visited to Sydney so I went back again a few years later but the second and third trips. I was traveling by myself. It was very exciting for the first time traveling back to Sydney by myself. I was twenty one years old. This trip was quite exciting for me because I went there without any plan ahead. This was part of advanturous as I always love it that way when I was younger. I daparted from Bangkok and directed flight to Sydney. It was not a long flight. When I arrived at the airport. I got my luggage and get on a taxi. I did not even booked a hotel here. I was young back then so I went to hostel instead. The hostel in Sydney also provided private room with its own bathroom. It was not cheap but compared to the hotel in the same location. I ended up pay around 130$ per night. It was great for me. It was clean and located in a good aread where I could get on the bus and walked to the attractions. It was super exciting once I got into my room. I felt like the real advanturous began. I did not want to rest since the flight was not super long anyway so I unpacked and got myself ready to go out. I went out and checked out around the area for my first day and had some food.

I spent most of the time on these trip by walking around the city and taking pictures. It was a great moment and enjoyable. It was simply but full of happiness. I love Sydney city. it was very lively and vibrant. I went around the city and chilling around. The Opera house always look beautiful for me even I had been here three times. I love the weahter and the wind around the harbour. It was so refreshing to walk around the harbor. I also find tourist informations around this area so I could decided what I wanted to do. I also took a ferry to the zoo from the harbour. It was convenient to get around by ferry. There are many other places where I could get there by ferry but this time I decided to visit the city zoo of Sydney, New South Wales. I love the zoo here and was located on the shores of Sydney harbour in the suburb of Mosman. It was officially opened on 7 October 1916. The fun part was from being on the ferry. It was fun and enjoyable with its pristine ocean and landcape. There are houses along the coast line and hill. It was unique and I was jealouse how people live their life here. Those beautiful hosue on the hill with an open wide ocean view were absolutley gorgoes. It seem like a wonderful place to be. I had a wonderful time on the ferry until the ferry arrived at the zoo. I spent the whole day at the zoo. This zoo is the best zoo in the world. It is on the island. It was quite hilly, clean and surrouned by the ocean. It was a great place to spent a day. This was the most interesting zoo I had even seen in my life. The zoo is home to over 2,600 animals of 340 species. It has a zoo shop, a cafe, and information centre. I had a great time checking out all the animal and especially this zoo has a gorgeous view over looking of Sydney's skyline. I could watched Girraffes infront of me and the skyline in the background. This is not only a trip to one of the best zoo but for the Sydney's skyline is also one of the best I could get.

There was one of my attraction which was out of the city. I booked the train trip to The Three Sisters - Blue mountain in New South Wales. This trip was advanturous and exciting since I really love the train trip. The train trip is one of the most interesting transportation to travel around. I love to see the landscape and changing home style from one town to anothers. It was a part of exploring the hidden spots as well. Once I arrived at the train station near Three Sisters. I decided to walk to Three Sisters but it was a long walk, instead I could get on hop on and hop off bus but I prefer walking around the area. It was hilly but I was having a great time taking pictures until I felt little tiring from long walking so I got on the bus to The Three Sisters. It was beautiful. The Three Sisters are rock formation in the Blue mountains of New South Wales. They are close to the town of Katoomba. The Three Sisters are name as - Meehni, Wimlah and Gunnedoo whome lived in the Jamison Valley as members of the Katoomba tribe. They fell in love with three men from a neighbouring tribe which is Nepean tribe, but marriage was forbidden by tribal law. The brothers were not happy to accept this law and so decided to use force to capture the three sisters. A major tribal battle ensued, and the sisters were turned to stone by an elder to protect them, but he was killed in the fighting and no one else could turn them back. This legend is claimed to be anlnddgenous Australian dreamtime legend.

Sydney trip was absolutely wonderful and lovely. I was simply enjoyed the sightseeing and pampering myself by walking around the city, eat some food, taking pictures, get on the bus and ferry to exploring the city and architectures. I also really love the train ride to the blue mountians. It was a lovely and adventurous. The nautre and its living style in Sydney and suburbe are so layback and made me even more enjoyable because I felt like I could just relax and people here are pretty friendly so this trip was a great pampering for the simple things just all around the corner.

Best Season:

Australian summer which starts on December 1 and ends on the last day of February. This is a time of great cultural activity -- outstanding theatre, street performances, art exhibitions -- as well as a time of pilgrimage to the beach. Winter in Sydney is great also. Too cold to swim, but is frost free with mostly nice clear winter days and an average of 9°C minimum to 17° maximum. There are many winter days where shirt sleeves are possible. Autumn and Spring are sort of in between seasons - nothing much different, just cooler than summer and warmer than winter.High season: Mid-January to Mid-April, and October to mid-December.

Low season: Mid-May to Mid-August

Shoulder season: Mid-April to Mid-May, Mid-August to September, Mid-December to Mid-January
