I party as hard as I work. It is nice to do something crazy sometimes, scream out, laugh out loud and being spontaneous. There is a moment where I just want to party, smoke and get on the water and have some fun, Miami is a place to be.

South Beach, Miami Florida is a fun place to visit for a short time - I recommend a long weekend. I love spending three or four days in South Beach at least once a year. One of my top recommendations in South Beach is dinner at the former Versace mansion (formerly the Villa by Barton G) which recently reopened. For years I have enjoyed Casa Casuarina from its vivid Versace decor to artistic fine dining at its best. The restaurant itself has some of the most impressive interior design work that I have ever seen. I enjoy every moment of every dinner here as the meal an decor have something for all of your sense. It is another level of high end dinning experience and always at the top of my South Beach list of recommendations.



I am very picky when it comes to choosing a hotel since South Beach is an area where people come to party. I prefer modern luxury and of course a great location is a must. I typically choose to stay at the King & Grove Tides Hotel. The Tides is located in a prime location close to Lincoln Road and the best restaurants in town. I can also just cross the street and walk to the big wide beach.

There are plenty of water activities here to choose from.  My favorite is typically parasailing just to chill up in the air and look out over  beautiful South Beach. The water here is almost always warm so I can enjoy swimming too all year long.  As for getting around here people seem to love flashy cars. You can rent anything you want here whether it be a Ferrari, Lamborghini or Porsche but as fun as that may be i always opt for renting a scooter to get around here. It is a lot of fun and easy to park anywhere.



More then just swimming and sun bathing I love good drinks and more importantly high quality food. Miami is big on Cuban food as there is a large Cuban population.  Many people say that some of the small local restaurants here serve Cuban food that is as good and as authentic as what you can find in Havana and I believe it.

As I said, South Beach is a great destination for a short getaway.  There are great restaurants and bars, beautiful beaches and a never ending nightlife.  South Beach is always great fun and has left me with many wonderful memories.
