Green & Blue Caves
Croatia

One day trip to green cave and blue cave was very spontaneous trip for me. I woke up so early to go swim in the ocean and fed some little fish from my left over strudel that I bought it from a local pastry. I could not even chew on it. it was so tough but gladly I got to feed some fish and I was enjoying my morning in the ocean with little fish that were swimming around me.

After an hour of relaxing in the ocean early morning. I was walking back to the hotel but there was a guy who was selling ticket to green and blue caves plus fisherman island so I ran back to the hotel to grab my stuff. When I got back to the boat I found a nice seat. I relaxed and sunbathed on the second level of the boat while we chugged out to the first stop.  When we arrived at green cave. I jumped into the clear ocean. It was so refreshing! It was a fun spot to snorkel as well. I swam into the cave. It was really fun and everyone there seems to have a great time, after 30 minutes the boat took off to blue cave so I just lay down and enjoy my sunbathing and gorgeous scenery along the way.

We had to transfer into a little boat to be able to enter into blue cave. When I got into blue cave. It blow my mind. The blue cave is a phenomenal nature beauty (just look at the pictures). They did not allow to swim in blue caves, so that was kind of sucks because the color of the water was absolutely stunning. I just kept taking pictures as much as possible before the boat leave. It was an unexpected trip and I didn't know about information about these caves before so It was a great spontaneous trip. What a great feeling!

The one day tour of the caves was great and well worth it.  I got to do something different than just walking around island drinking traditional shots all day and eating seafood for every meal.

The best feeling of my trip is when I can enjoy the beauty nature and being spontaneous is always something to surprise me. I would never discover these caves without being spontaneous. It was absolutely worth it and they memory will always be with me.

Green & Blue Caves - The Hidden Gem of Croatia
--- Eastern Europe ---

Best Season:

The best time to visit Croatia is the summer, specifically July and August, is the busiest time on Croatia's coast and islands. This is the country's season, a time when the sun is the hottest, the sea the bluest, and traffic endless.

The Croatian coast is at its best and worst during midsummer. The crowds

can be overwhelming. Much of the

madness is due to traditional European vacation schedules which coincide with the coast's glorious summer weather.

Weather in Croatia generally can be divided into two miniclimates. Northern Croatia has a Continental climate, with average temperatures ranging from near freezing in January to about 77°F (25°C) in August. The coastal areas have a more Mediterranean climate, with average temperatures ranging from the mid-40s in January to 100°F (38°C) or more in August. Spring and autumn are pleasant and mild along the coast, winter inland can be cold and snowy.
