Koh Phangan is the island southern Thailand. The real troical island. They are surrouned by mountains and beaches. I decided to visit Kog Phangan because I would love to experience Full Moon party since it is so famous and people travel from all over the world to attend this full moon party. It was out of my curiousity so I had to give it a try. I was traveling around Samui Islands for a few days before I visited Koh Phagnan so from Samui Island. I could travel to Koh Phagnan by ferry. There are ferry transfer from Samui Island to Koh Phagnan everyday so it was very convenient but I had to make sure I arrived at the port before time and bought my ticket.

 While traveling from one island to another. I really enjoyed the beautiful scennary of ocean and little islands that pops all around in the middle of the sea. It was a natural beauty that made southern oceana of Thailand unique and special. This why Thailand is one of the most interesting destination in South East Asia or even I have to talk about Asia continental of the most interesting travel destinations. I would put Thailand in top three list you must visit in Asia.

As you ca see one of my favorite picture that look like the volcano explore from the island but it was the clound and there was a fisherman boat sialing by. That was my favorite scenary and a great picture I captured while I was on the ferry so it was fun to look at natural creation of art.

 After about 45 minutes. I arrived at the port of Koh Phagnan, from here I could see plenty of local taxi vans. As I booked the hotel already so usually there will be car pick up waiting for me around the port but I did not have luck this time because my ferry was late and there was another ferry that travel from Samui Island to Koh Phagnan just 15 minutes before my ferry arrived so there was a misunderstandting with hotel car service, but it was convinent with the local taxi so I took the open van where I could sit in the back and enjoy the wind. It was fun and I really love it. 

 Koh Phagnan is quite a big tropical island. It is not quite a flat landscap compare to Koh Phagnan. It is hilly here. It took a while by car to get to my hotel resort. I chose to stay at a resort that surrouded by nature so it was not close to the city at all. I prefered being around nature ragther then city vibe and the resort was really beautiful so I was very happy about it. I love the resort here. It was well designed and decorated. There was a big infinity pool where I could enjoyed to ocean secenry and a private beach area that surrouned by green mountain. It was really relaxing just to lay back and enjoyed a my coconut juice and a cocktail on the beach then jumped into the ocean when it gets hot.

 Around the area where I stayed is quiet and close to all the natural beauty so if I want to travel to the city or the full moon party. There would be car service from hotel or boat. I came to Koh Phagnan because my friends invited me to join this trip with her friends so I wanted to experienced Full Moon party as well since I have heard about Full Moon party since I was young but I never made it here since I was teenager. I was quite excited for party. Full Moon party is located along the big wide beach of Haad Rin beach. Here you will see thousands of westerner dacning and party on the beach.

 Full Moon party  was started with a group of tourist whome wanted to celebrate the Full Moon night since these group of tourist found the most beautiful Full Moon on Koh Phagnan island. Parties gained fame through word of mouth and then there were about 30,000 people attened the parties, since then Full Moon party became the world famous beach party where people travel from all over the world to attend this party. Along the beach I could buy buckets of liquors and some bars sale mushroom smoothies. It conciderate as drugs liquore for whome wish to get high but therefore. There are a lot of fake mushroom drinks so you propbably drink five of them and still feel fine, instead you might get drunk because of the tipical alchohol. Everything goes on this party. It is wild and crazy. People who attended this party always painted there body with neon color so it would glow in the dark, my friends had arranged the cool looking neon paint top for out group so we were absolutely funcky and we made sure we would never get lost from each other haha. I really love the idea of my friends creation since I had quite some drinks and it was a brilliant idea to wear the same top which made it easy to regonaized from little distance among thoudsands of drunk people. 

 This Full Moon party was a great experienced. It was great to see how people would travel the world to attend the same party under the beautiful Full Moon night. The light from the sky and the big wide beach with the sounds of the waves. The clean air and warm weather among the world wild party where is not any beach parties in the world. It is only exist here in Koh Phagnan and would always continue on from one generation to another, even though I am quite old for this party but it was wonderful to have fun with friends and party like we are young but what made this the most specail party in the world was that the natural beauty and how people create such a thrill things to do at the same place and a night of the big Full Moon. This was an experienced of once in a life times.
