Monaco is the world's second smallest country and is located between southern France and Mediterranean sea. It is easy to travel her from other regions around Europe, especially by TGV train. The fastest train in Europe but another fun way to explore little province in souther France through Monte Carlo is by car so that what I did for my trip to Monte Carlo. I rented a car from Marseilles southern France then I drove it from there. It was wonderful to get to explore some small provinces in southern France. There were many beauty of nature and interesting local food to be discovered in every pace.
It was very interesting on during my road trip to Monaco. I got to stop by some sun flower files, fruits shop where I could buy local fresh farm water melon, garlic, tomatoes and even salami while I could do wine tasting even it was a simply shop on the side of the road. This was extremely impressive and full of quality. It was such a great experience as I got to explored great stuff by being spontaneous so it was a great surprised!
There always something to see during the road trip until I arrived to Monaco. After passed through small provinces until I arrived to Monte Carla. It turn into the whole new experience here. As soon as I got into Monte Carlo. I felt the vibe of wealthy, luxury and great leisure. Monte Carlo is one of the richest city in Europe. Here there is a great casino, restaurants and high end hotels either located by the beach or those on the hill over looking the ocean view. I could also see so many sports car driving around the city. It seems to be normal here. Monte Carlo is also known as the world famous rally. It is also world famous as Monaco Grand Prix formula one race. This can be very exciting and drawn people to this city during Grand Prix. You will feel the vibe of fun and excitement with the whole new experiences. You can also watch formula one race from some of the hotel and even restaurants. This is absolutely something that unlike any other place in the world.
There are many high end hotels in Monte Carlo. I choose to stay at Le Meridian Beach Plaza. There is nothing cheap in Monte Carlo. It pretty much luxury travel destination with all the fancy lie style all around so if you decided to visit Monte Carlo then feel free to be classy and flashy. I love my stay at Le Meridian as I have a balcony over looking the ocean and the city view. It was really wonderful. I was visiting Monte Carlo during august so it could be very hot here, but great thing was that Le Meridian is located by the beach and the the hotel has their own beach area so I could spend a great time on the beach and jump into the ocean when it hot out. The water here is bright blue and beautiful. It is part of Mediterranean sea. Even the weather is hot water here has a good climate during the summer so It could be very refreshing.
There are many restaurants to pick and I love Italian food here. You would find some other cuisine but I prefer enjoy authentic Italian cuisine here. I usually had good experienced with restaurants in Mote Carlo, especially I had such a great carbonara and authentic thin slice Italian pizza. Here you will experience great Italian cuisine. I would say it was one of my favorite part of this trip. Monaco is located between southern France and northwestern Italy so people here either speak French or Italian and there are many great food between French and Italian all around.

Best Season:
The best time to visit Monte Carlo are from March - May, to enjoy the thin crowds and 70 degree temperatures.
The summer time in Monte Carlo is very expensive and during August can be way too hot and the hotel rate are high. I experienced heat wave when I was there so for me I would avoid summer time here.
I also recommended to visit Semtember - November, Althought
the possibility for showers is a bit higher in October and November, the possibility of finding a reasonable room rate is higher too, so you just might want to risk rain.
