Tour the Southern Island of New Zealand is the bucket list! This island is unreal. It was like a beautiful painting on the wall that I could walk through and then I asked myself is this real? I never though there would be a place like this. The word beautiful and phenomenal is not even enough to describe this place the world has to offer. It was long time ago since I visited Southern New Zealand. I used to live in Auckland when I was in high school. I met some students from Germany from the same school so we decided to travel to Southern New Zealand during holiday. When we were young we could not spend a lot of money on hotel. I was 19 years old and was studying in six form. It was obvious that me and other students had to plan on a budget. We went on a bus tour with kiwi experience. This bus company offer many route packages all around New Zealand. I flew from Auckland to Southern New Zealand and start my route from there. It was very exciting and was such a thrill experienced I could have as international student. I wanted to explore the country as much as I could.
New Zeanland is the place unlike anywhere else in the world. It is rich in nature beauty and the perfection of many unique of its pristine feature all around the country. There are so many natural beauty that amazed me from one place to anothers. I love the color of the green grass mountain where they were sheeps eating on grass, seal taking sunbating on the rocks, dolphine jumping un and down on the surface of the ocean, the reflection of the mountain of the beautiful color of the river, hot spring, glacier, country road along the ocean. There are beauty everywhere along my traveling en route. It was such a mind free looking at these pristine nature. I rememberd the fun time I had while I was on the kiwi bus. I really enjoyed this bus road trip because of the beautiful view along the road trip was already advanturous for me. We also get to stop by any cool spots along the way. The bus driver was fun and friendly. We all have friends with other people who were traveling on the same bus. I could stop from one town to another and choice of my own day of staying until whenver I want to move on to another town. I just have to the bus company to reserve my seat. The bus run everyday. It was convenient and fun to travel around by bus.
Every stop of each places seem to be in the middle of nowhere but the hostels were cozy and surrounded by the natural beauty, each town has their own attraction and activities but mostly I was already enjoyed the view or walking around to discorver some beautiful lakes and rivers. I rememberd tow of my great activites I did were diving with dolpines and ridding the horse. It was such a wonderful experinece I had ever done in my life witht the dolphines. I woke up really early to get on the boat. We depart around 6.00am in the morning to go to the ocean and we swam with the wild dophines in the ocean. They were very playful and adorable. It was my first time experienced with many dophine in the ocean so it was really cool. I also had my first horse ridding here in South of New Zealand. The horse was really big and we ride into the forest up to the top of the hill. It was insane and beautiful. We rided into the forest with its pristine plants and green. it was very advanturous and they tough me how to ride just while I was on the back of the horse. I was lucky because my horse was very easy. It was super fun and since then I always love to go on horse ridding wherever I have a chance too, but still none of any trip could compare to the one I did in South of New Zealand before. After the long ride until we got back to the horse camp. We got to feed some carrots to the horse to have some bond between me and these smart looking animal. I totally had a wonderful times and great memories of each places along the trip.
If you are looking for a crazy activity. It is very well known here for bungy jumping. You will be jumping off the bridge with the choice of dipping your head in river or not which is up to you but I was not dare enough to jump off the bridge. You can jump off the bridge with the natural beauty surrouned but I think at that moment you may not thinkg about beauty nature. If I ever have a chance to travel back to South of New Zealand again. I may want to try but just even the though of it make me sick in my stocmack already lol! I think arrtaction of each town is very interesting and has their own character to suite with the natures. It seem like a country that surrouned by mountains, ocean, lakes and rivers but there are so much fun things to do. It was really intrigue and made me want to explore and discovering, sometimes I walk around into the forest and found a gorgeous waterfall or an intertesting plants on the ground. This is really a heaven on earth and I want to suggest people that New Zealand is the trip of the life time. If you love nature and the natural beauty all around the corner, here has it all for you.
This trip to South Of New Zealand made me want to explore the world even more. I was so impressed and amazed by the natural beauty. I had never seen anything like that before and even though if I have to compared South of New Zeanland to other places that I have been traveling around the world. I can easily say that New Zealand is extreamly unique and uncomparable. This is a truely heaven on earth. I still remembered of every single details along my road trip and places we stop by on the side of the road just to snap some pictures. It was so much fun and this experienced is priceless. This is one of my dream trip that I have always want to do it again. I will definately plan to go back again for more advanturous!

South of New Zealand
Best Season:
The South Island has a hugely varied climate due to the regional differences. The west coast can be very wet, Fiordland in the south west is one of the wettest places on earth. The east coast is significantly drier. The New Zealand summer (November through February) is the best time to visit the South Island—especially if you want to swim, sun, and boat on the north coast. Temperatures during these months can get into the mid-70s during the day. The one downside to traveling here during December and January is that schools are on break, so you'll be sharing the sights and hotels with lots of vacationing Kiwis. Skiers, of course, will want to come in winter, when snows blanket the Southern Alps.
Favorite Hotels:
The South Island has truly diverse and magnificent landscapes - the perfect place for an epic road trip, explore braided rivers and snow-topped peaks as you drive through some of New Zealand’s most spectacular countryside. Enjoy the rural hospitality of down-to-earth kiwis and be enchanted by turquoise-blue lakes and sun-drenched beaches. There are native forests and abundant birdlife, primeval rock formations and quaint, small towns waiting for you to discover. You can stop by each small town and there are some guest houses which are clean and comfort. The only luxury hotels are located in the big town such as Christchurch, Queenstown, Wanaka, Graymouth, Nelson, Picton, Blenheim, Invercargill, Canturbury and Kaikoura. I recommend to exploring South Island from one place to anothers. The best way to travel through South Island is by car or you can take a coach bus like Kiwi Experience bus. It is very flexible and fun or another option is by train, two standout train routes are on the South Island. The Picton - Christchurch Tranzcoastal begins travelingthrough the Marlborough wine region before hugging the Kaikoura Coast and crossing the Canterbury Plains. The Christchurch Greymouth Tranzalpine crosses the Southern Alps at Arthurs Pass. Rated as one of the most scenic train journeys in the world. Formore info please do not hesitate to contact us.
